We had the opportunity to work with Cindy Wallace (Compass RE) during the buying craze in areas around Nashville this past summer. After helping our daughters’ family secure housing in Spring Hill, we also used Cindy to search for our home. The challenge in both cases was trying to find a home in Williamson-Rutherford County while we were living out of state. When a home we liked became available, Cindy offered to see the house on our behalf and provide us with specific details to meet our needs. On several occasions, we would “Facetime” while we were out of state where she would walk around the house and help us get a feel for the property (even when she was dealing with a foot injury and cast). What I liked about Cindy was that she was honest and offered her local knowledge to help us understand the pros and cons of each home and neighborhood. We wanted her to share her opinion on each home and she did just that, and we agreed with all her assessments. Cindy has been a tremendous resource for my wife and me. The idea of relocating cross-country was daunting, especially in what was a rocket hot market. With homes going on the market, completing showings, and accepting offers in the matter of a single weekend, locating a house and getting an offer accepted from 2000 miles away seemed impossible. We couldn't have done it without her. She honed in on what it was we wanted, was incredibly patient with us, and negotiated us a great deal providing sound advice all throughout. We were lucky to have had her on our side. She's going to be representing my parents on their home search as well. I can think of no better endorsement than that. (and there's a non-zero chance that she had a hand in both my children and my nephew getting into the school we wanted them to go to).
